The MAX 1 Performance TD42 turbo is completely designed/developed in house. We have upgraded our turbo based on the original Mitsubishi TD05 turbo system, assembled with a dual port thrust bearing and heavy duty thrust collar/spacer, we have enhanced its durability, reliability and performance.
The turbo is suitable for Nissan Patrol 4.2 diesel engines and Toyota Landcruiser 4.2 1HZ engines.
MAX 1 Performance TD42 upgrade turbo comes in 4 configurations dependents on your power goals and current supporting modifications; below you can find the HP rating for further choosing reference.
16g Mod Turbo: up to 180hp
18g Mod Turbo: 200hp to 230hp
21L Mod Turbo: 250hp to 280hp
23L Mod Turbo: 280hp to 340hp
